Ab k Hum Bichre to Shaayed Kabhii.........

Ahmad Fraz Ghazal

ab ke ham bichhare to shaayad kabhii Khvaabon main milain
jis tarah suukhe hue phuul kitaabon main milain

dhondh ujare hue logon main vafaa ke motii
ye Khazaane tujhe mumkin hai Kharaabon main milain

tuu Khudaa hai na meraa ishq farishton jaisaa
donon insaan hain to kyon itane hijaabon main milain

Gam-e-duniyaa bhii Gam-e-yaar main shaamil kar lo
nashaa barataa hai sharabain jo sharaabon main milain

aaj ham daar pe khainche gaye jin baaton par
kyaa ajab kal wo zamaane ko nisaabon main milain

ab na wo main hon na tu hai na wo maazii hai `Faraaz'
jaise do shaKhs tamannaa ke saraabon main milain
